Since its opening in 1979, Sushi Cafe & Shilla Restaurant has maintained a reputation for a unique blend of Korean dishes. Alongside came Sushi Cafe, which was latter introduced in 2003, bringing the flavors of Japanese cuisine to Miami.

Our restaurant embodies the comforts of a family home while providing fresh, high quality Japanese and Korean foods. One can enjoy tasty sushi rolls or snack on artful sashimi. For those who have a group, or an appetite, boats can be presented with a touch of elegance and an eyeful of beauty. Japanese as well as Korean dishes are prepared with much care from our dedicated and experienced chefs.

In the “Korean” room, the tables all have a Korean hibachi like cooking area that’s fitted with a metal cover. The wait staff will start the fire right in front of you before displaying platters of meats, colorful vegetables, and delicious spices. They give you a quick lesson how Koreans traditionally set up their “ondol”, the Korean BBQ table heating system. The presentation is intoxicating when paired with the exotic view of multicolored, vibrant  side dishes served with the Korean entrees.
